Leeds United are reportedly set to sign Barcelona B striker Rafa Mujica once his contract expires at the club in the summer, according to Marca.

The 20-year-old can play on either wing but is predominantly used as a striker and has scored seven goals in 33 second division appearances this season.

In fact the report from Marca claims that striker has already signed an agreement to move to Elland Road.

Marcelo Bielsa's side are still in with a shot at promotion and take a 1-0 lead into the second leg of their Championship play-off semi-final against Derby County tomorrow.

After a closely thought first half at Pride Park, Leeds took the lead just before the hour mark when Jack Harrison's excellent pass was slotted home by Kemar Roofe.

The visitors survived immense pressure, some penalty controversy and got away with a red-card decision before the final whistle finally blew.

In the other semi-final it was Aston Villa who took the advantage into their second-leg against West Brom after triumphing 2-1 at Villa Park.

The verdict

This does strike me as a very Bielsa signing.

Coming from Barcelona he is a player who is likely to fit straight into the ethos with which a Bielsa team plays and should not take long to adapt to life in Leeds.

At 20 he still has plenty of time to progress as well which will only make him more appealing.
