According to various sources from Switzerland, Leeds United are set to complete the signing of Ezgjan Alioski fairly imminently.

Football journalist Joe Rawson has revealed via Twitter that his contacts in Switzerland are "adamant" that the deal is going ahead.

This has been echoed by other reports in Switzerland.

Swiss media outlet Ticino News are reporting that Ezgjan Alioski to Leeds United is a done deal, according to their "sources" from England.

Ezgjan Alioski is a very exciting attacking talent.

The Macedonian international plays as a winger but he provides a serious goal threat as well as proving plenty of assists.

Currently playing for FC Lugano in the Swiss Super League, Alioski has previously represented Young Boys B and Schaffhausen.

Last season, Ezgjan Alioski enjoyed his most prolific year to date.

The 25-year-old weighed in with a seriously impressive tally of seventeen goals and fourteen assists.

This placed him as the third top scorer in the top division of Swiss football, as well as being third in the assists chart too.

Ticino News believe that Alioski also had offers from Italian Serie A side Atalanta and a number of Bundesliga clubs but will instead join Leeds United.

Leeds have been busy in the summer transfer window already, securing permanent deals for last season's loan duo Hadi Sacko and Pontus Jansson as well as signing Mateusz Klich and Madger Gomes.
