Leeds United and Middlesbrough both want to sign Reading man Chris Gunter, according to the Yorkshire Post. 

The Welsh international right back is currently in France impressing for his country, showing just why he has managed to accumulate 70 caps for Wales.

His form for Reading though has been patchy to say the least, and a move may well be on the cards now for the 26-year-old after his showings in the Euro's.

Gunter started his career with Cardiff City and has gone on to play for Nottingham Forest after a short spell with Tottenham following his move from the Welsh side.

He moved to Reading in 2012, and has gone on to make well in excess of 100 appearances for the Royals under numerous managers. However, with Jaap Stam now in charge, it may be time for Gunter to move on.

Leeds will be looking to build on their mid-table finish last season in the Championship, with ne manager Garry Monk keen to add names to his squad over the summer with the backing of controversial owner Massimo Cellino.
