Leeds United’s Kemar Roofe, who joined the Championship side last summer from Oxford United, has named Jordan Botaka as the club’s most skilful player – after speaking to LUTV.
Botaka was seemingly surplus to requirements at Elland Road upon Garry Monk’s arrival and subsequently signed for League One’s Charlton Athletic, he’s made 21 appearances across all competitions for the Addicks.
Despite Pablo Hernandez being the clear candidate for the most skilful footballer at Leeds, he came second to Jordan Botaka and that may be a surprise to supporters.
When Roofe was asked the question, he said: ”I would have said, but he’s not here now, at the start of the season, Botaka”.
Having arrived at the Yorkshire outfit in the summer of 2015, Botaka has been limited to just 14 matches for Leeds United.
The 23-year-old may not have a future at the club, however, with Monk quick to send him out on loan and the player’s contract is set to expire this summer.
Leeds United supporters, would you agree with Kemar Roofe that Jordan Botaka is the most skilful player at the club? Does Hernandez come close? Let us know below!
