According to Football London, Leeds United are interested in re-signing Robert Snodgrass, five years after is departure from Elland Road.

Snodgrass looks set to leave West Ham United this summer, after a difficult start to life at the London Stadium.

The Hammers paid around £10m to sign the winger during the January transfer window, but their interest to Marko Arnautovic means they are willing to let Snodgrass leave this summer.

The 29-year-old has made just 15 appearances for West Ham, with just eight of those coming in the starting XI.

Leeds are one of four clubs interested in signing Snodgrass from West Ham, but face tough competition from Premier League newbies, Newcastle United and Brighton and Hove Albion, as well as Norwich City – another of Snodgrass’ former clubs.

Snodgrass left Elland Road in 2012 after four successful years with Leeds, which saw him make almost 200 appearances for the club and achieve promotion from League One during the 2009/10 season.

Since his departure from Leeds, Snodgrass has had spells with both Norwich and Hull City, where he has made a combined total of 112 league appearances in both the Premier League and Championship, before his move to London in January.
