According to HITC Sport, both Leeds United and Bournemouth are interested in signing Brighton and Hove Albion youngster Rob Hunt.

Hunt is currently on-loan with Sky Bet League One side Oldham Athletic, having found first-team opportunities limited at the Amex Stadium, with Chris Hughton’s side chasing promotion to the Premier League.

The 21-year old defender is under contract with Brighton until 2018, and featured in the Seagulls’ three EFL Cup fixtures at the start of the 2016/17 campaign.

Since moving to Boundary Park, during the January transfer window, Hunt has featured on seven occasions in League One, helping John Sheridan’s side climb the table.

Hunt, who is capable of playing both left-back and right-back, has helped the Latics to three consecutive clean-sheets, and is now on the radar of both Leeds and Bournemouth.

Oldham currently sit 20th in the League One table after an impressive goalless draw with Millwall, but remain just two-points clear of the relegation zone.
