Tyler Roberts has been an important player for Leeds United this season and has an opportunity to make an impact in the Championship play-offs.

It has been a disappointing few weeks for Leeds, as the team suffered a dip in form at the worst possible time, missing out on automatic promotion to Sheffield United.

The Whites are without a win in their last four matches and have lost five of their last nine, but will have another chance to end their season on a high in the end-of-season play-offs.

Leeds will face Derby County in the play-off semi-finals, with the first leg taking place at Pride Park on Saturday evening.

Roberts missed the defeat to Ipswich Town at the weekend with an ankle problem, but the Yorkshire Evening Post reported earlier this week that the 20-year-old is hopeful of being fit for the play-offs.

The forward has a chance to make a big impact in the play-offs, as he prepares to return to a Leeds side who are currently short on attacking options.

Kemar Roofe has struggled for form since his return from a knee injury and Patrick Bamford will miss the first leg of the semi-final through suspension, after he was handed a two-match ban for getting Anwar El Ghazi sent off against Aston Villa.

Roberts has been an important player for Leeds this season, scoring three goals and providing six assists for his teammates in 28 Championship appearances.

The Leeds players face a tough game in the semi-finals, as they prepare to face a Derby side who are unbeaten in their last six games and have only lost one of their last twelve.

Leeds have their best opportunity to return to the Premier League for several years and head coach Marcelo Bielsa will be looking for his experienced players to produce big performances, but Roberts will feel he has an opportunity to step up and make an impact as well.
