Leeds United ace delivers interesting thoughts on Sheffield United ahead of tomorrow’s clash

Ronaldo Vieira has piled the praise on Sheffield United, describing their performance in the Sky Bet Championship this season as “great,” ahead of Friday’s clash between Leeds United and the Blades at Elland Road, reports Adam Pope.
The Blades head to Elland Road on Friday evening four points ahead of the Whites, after a magnificent start to the season has left Chris Wilder’s side third, level on points with second placed, Cardiff City. Victory for the Blades on Friday will see them temporarily move to the top of the Championship table, ahead of Saturday’s fixtures.
Vieira, who made his first Championship start of the season last weekend for Leeds against Bristol City, was complimentary about the Blades’ start to the season, but was insistent that the Whites had the capability of picking up three points, just as they did at Ashton Gate last Saturday. The 19-year-old said:
Vieira: “Sheffield United have been great to be honest. But so were Bristol City and we went there and won.” #lufc

Thomas Christiansen’s Leeds side enter the fixture with just two victories from their last six, whilst the Blades have enjoyed differing form in recent weeks, picking up 12 points from a possible 18 in their last six. Leeds will be able to call on Stuart Dallas at Elland Road on Friday, but will be without Cameron Borthwick-Jackson.
The Verdict
Sheffield United have been the Championship’s surprise package, and on current form, you would expect to see Wilder’s side competing in the top-six for the remainder of the Championship season.
However, Leeds are a good side, and at Elland Road, will expect to pick up some points on Friday evening.
There is a lot riding on the fixture in terms of where both sides can move in the table, and it should be an entertaining contest.
