David Prutton is expecting Leeds United’s unbeaten start to the Sky Bet Championship to continue this weekend when they face Nottingham Forest, reports Sky Sports.

Writing in his prediction column for Sky, Prutton could not separate the two sides, predicting a 2-2 draw from Saturday’s teatime encounter at the City Ground.

Leeds have enjoyed a successful start to life under Thomas Christiansen, and are undefeated across all competitions after six fixtures.

The Whites have picked up eight-points from their opening four Championship fixtures, and put in an impressive display last weekend to beat Sunderland 2-0 at the Stadium of Light, with Samuel Saiz and Stuart Dallas finding themselves on the scoresheet.

Leeds have signed Jay-Roy Grot this week, and the forward could make his debut against Forest, who themselves will have a debutant in their squad in the form of Liam Bridcutt, who joined from Leeds earlier this week.

Forest have three victories from their opening four fixtures of the season, with Mark Warburton’s men looking like could mount a serious push for promotion in the Championship.

The latest of those victories was an impressive triumph over Middlesbrough at the City Ground, where Warburton’s side really showed their promotion credentials.

The Verdict

With two of the Championship’s form teams meeting, this really is a mouth-watering contest that could go either way.

Forest, as the home side, will be favourites, but Leeds will be confident that their stern looking defence can set them on their way to picking up some points.

The game really depends on the performance of Pontus Jansson and Liam Cooper for Leeds.

If the defensive duo are at their best, Leeds should take something away from Nottingham on Saturday evening.
