The Championship is back this weekend with Leeds United returning to their league duties against Reading this Saturday afternoon at Elland Road.

The men from Yorkshire come into this game in the play-off places but many might feel as though they should have been higher up but for their awful recent run of three losses in four games.

Even so, a top six spot is nothing to be sniffed at and they'll be looking to keep pace at the top with three points against a struggling Royals team.

Plenty of fans, then, will be wondering whether or not the club is going to change things up instead of team selection and Ronaldo Vieira has been handed hope by Thomas Christiansen.

Indeed, as quoted by Adam Pope on Twitter, the Leeds manager said:

The midfielder has played nowhere near as often as he did under Garry Monk last season, with Kalvin Phillips and Eunan O'Kane being preferred into the middle of the park.

The season is about to enter a very hectic period full of games, though, and so the young midfielder might just be about to find himself back into the fray before too long.

The Verdict

There's a lot of excitement about Ronaldo Vieira's talent and potential - particularly after last season - which is why there's been such concern he's barely used.

It seems, though, that there has been reasons behind it and we're sure he's going to play a more regular part in the coming weeks.
