Leeds star Liam Cooper has taken to Twitter today to praise the efforts of his team-mates against Birmingham last night and to let people know about the knock he picked up.

The men from Elland Road have shot to the top of the league and have gone unbeaten in doing so as Cardiff were knocked off of top spot last night.

Indeed, the Whites did it with a 2-0 win over Birmingham City who really pushed them hard, and so the victory should be even sweeter looking back on it now.

For sure, Cooper has been right at the heart of all the good Leeds have done so far this season and so the knock he picked up last night will hopefully go down if you are a fan of the club.

Certainly, the centre-half seems hopeful that he is going to be fit after posting this message on the social media site:

Cooper and Pontus Jansson really have been immense at the back so far this season for the Whites and they were certainly tested last night by Birmingham.

They'll be hoping to be together out on the field this weekend coming, too, as the club heads to Millwall in a bid to keep themselves at the top of the league.

The Verdict

Cooper has started very well this season for Leeds - as have most of the team - and so fans will obviously be hoping that he is going to be fit for the weekend.

His tweet certainly suggests that he is going to be available, though, and so Whites fans should not lose too much sleep as they look forward to going to Millwall as the current league leaders.
