Leeds United fans will be fairly satisfied with their side's start to the new season, despite falling to their first league defeat of the campaign on Saturday afternoon.

The Whites occupy third spot in the Sky Bet Championship table after losing 1-0 to Swansea City at the weekend - Wayne Routledge scoring in the 90th minute to ensure that Steve Cooper's side would leave Elland Road with all three points.

Aside from that, Marcelo Bielsa's side have made a strong start to the season after suffering play-off heartbreak last term, and after winning four of their first five matches before the weekend, the Whites look on course to form another promotion push this time around.

As we prepare to head into the first international break of the campaign, now is the perfect time for Bielsa and his players to rest, recuperate, and reflect on what has been a positive first month.

Here, we take a look at what the players have been up to on social media over the last few days, after an eventful first month in the Championship.

Douglas celebrated his 30th birthday on Wednesday afternoon, with teammates Kalvin Phillips, Liam Cooper and Tyler Roberts all sending their best wishes to the left-back.

The 30-year-old has endured a frustrating time with injury in the early stages of the season, but will be looking to reclaim his place in the side after the international break, after coming on to replace Gjanni Alioski against Swansea.

The Scot started off his birthday celebrations with a swanky breakfast - the colours on this dish matching his often exuberant clothing choices.

Reunion for Nketiah

The grind never stops for Nketiah, though, with the Arsenal loanee being named in the England under-21 squad to face Kosovo and Turkey next week.

The Arsenal loanee has scored three goals in five games for Leeds since making the temporary switch from the Emirates, but will be hoping to make his first league start against Barnsley when he returns from international duty.

Here he is, pictured alongside Arsenal teammate Reiss Nelson, seemingly in high spirits as the Young Lions prepare for their next game.

International duty for Stuart Dallas

Another player on international duty, this time with Northern Ireland, is Stuart Dallas.

The 28-year-old has been excellent for Leeds so far this season, standing in for injured right-back Luke Ayling who will find it tough to break back into Bielsa's side when he's back to full fitness.

Michael O'Neill's side face Luxembourg on Thursday night, before playing host to Germany in the UEFA Euro 2020 qualifiers on Monday night.

Dallas was pictured here preparing for the next two games, as well as poking fun at Hull striker Josh Magennis' choice of footwear on the team coach.
