It’s been a busy week for Leeds United in the Sky Bet Championship, with the Whites now beginning to look ahead to Saturday’s Yorkshire Derby with Sheffield Wednesday.  

Leeds picked up three points from trips to Birmingham and Preston last week, managing to keep automatic promotion in their sights.

Radrizzani, Jansson and Klich in Game of Thrones exchange

Entertaining footage of Nikolaj CosterWaldau from Game of Thrones has emerged, with the actor appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live and having the American audience chanting ‘in Bielsa we trust.’

Completely oblivious, the audience and Kimmel believe he’s referring to a GoT character, but in fact he’s giving a small reminder that he’s a massive Leeds United fan and loving the work of Marcelo Bielsa!

And, it promoted some response from Andrea Radrizzani, Pontus Jansson and Mateusz Klich on social media…

More love for Pablo Hernandez  

Hernandez has been superb this season for Leeds United, with the attacking midfielder scoring 12 goals and registering 11 assists for Bielsa’s side.

Today, the Spaniard turns 34, with Leeds fans moving to wish Hernandez all the best on his big day.

And, @LaLigaEN have shared some footage of Hernandez’s days with Valencia, rolling back the years for the playmaker…

Love for Garry Monk

With Leeds going up against Sheffield United for the second automatic promotion spot in the Championship this season, all eyes were on the Blades’ trip to Birmingham City last night.

Five days earlier, Birmingham had beaten Leeds, but last night they did the Whites huge favour by taking points off Sheffield United, with Monk’s Blues holding them to a 1-1 draw.

Monk isn’t the most popular figure at Elland after walking out on the Whites two seasons ago, but last night, he was back in their good books…
