The latest transfer story regarding Leeds United is emerging from the Daily Mail, with the outlet suggesting that Everton are keeping tabs on Whites striker Mallik Wilks.

The young attacker is currently enjoying a fruitful spell out on loan at League Two outfit Accrington Stanley, and it's seemingly caught admiring glances from the top-flight.

Should Leeds offload Wilks? Would it be a good signing for Everton?

We discuss....

Alfie Burns

Wilks’ contract with Leeds is running down, which is leading to clubs taking a closer look at the 18-year-old and his potential.

The striker is excelling with Accrington in League Two, and Leeds must be considering offering Wilks better terms at Elland Road.

If Wilks can get Leeds to commit to him, for me, Elland Road is the best place for his development.

A move to Everton could seriously hinder a talented striker’s path in the game.

George Dagless

It's a risk for Everton.

Wilks seems a good player but it would be a big step up to the Toffees.

The Blues have a good record of bringing young players through, though, and so that might work in Wilks' favour.

Leeds simply must not sell him.

Chris Gallagher

Leeds need to do all they can to fight off Everton.

The youngster is a quality prospect and whilst Leeds fans may be worried, it shows they have good players if Premier League clubs are showing an interest.

Wilks is getting regular football now and will benefit from playing now and trying to win a place at Elland Road for next season.

At Everton he is only going to be playing academy football and that could hinder his progress.
