Leeds United's season is going along quite nicely and they sit atop the Championship going into the new year.

Despite being down to Hull City at the time of writing this article, the Whites are still looking firm favourites to win promotion come the end of the season, and the January window gives the club the chance to strengthen even further should Marcelo Bielsa choose too.

We at FLW think the club do indeed need to bring in a few new faces, if anything just to keep it fresh at the club, but there are a couple of positions where Leeds can improve things.

And one position we at FLW think needs adding too is in between the sticks, where only Bailey Peacock-Farrell stands between Leeds having a half decent 'keeper, and a disaster if he was to be injured.

That's why we think the club should go all out to sign Sheffield Wednesday stopper Kieran Westwood, who despite returning to the Owls XI for the last two games, was left out this afternoon for the game with West Brom for what is being termed as an unspecified injury.

This sort of thing is always going to get the rumour mill going, and we think there is a big chance Westwood might be on his way.

Leeds need a new stopper, whether that be to go alongside 'BPF' or to take over as number one, and Westwood remains one of the top stoppers in the Championship on his day.

Confident, big, and an excellent shot stopper, Westwood would be a superb signing for the Whites if they could pull it off.

Leeds fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
