Reports in recent days are suggesting that Leeds United are on alert for goalkeeper David Stockdale who has been told he can leave Birmingham.

Would the 32-year-old be a good signing for the Whites?

We discuss....

Ben Barkworth

Stockdale would be a reliable player to bring in for this level.

However, he would impede the promising development of Bailey Peacock-Farrell, so they should only bring him in if he is happy having to fight to take the first-team spot off Peacock-Farrell.

Alfie Burns

He’d be ideal for Leeds.

Leeds need a new goalkeeper, as for me, Peacock-Farrell still isn’t ready for a 46-game season.

Bringing Stockdale in for a couple of years would be shrewd and allow Peacock-Farrell to find his feet without the pressure of the Championship.

If he’s available, Leeds simply have to get it done.

Chris Gallagher

Without a doubt.

The Leeds lad is supposedly available for a transfer and whilst the wages could price the Whites out he would be a good signing.

They need a new keeper this summer and they saw this season how important it is to sign a proven stopper.

George Dagless

I say go for it.

The stopper looks set to leave Birmingham and it would seem as though there'll be some interest in him from around the second tier.

BPF is a good young 'keeper and should start the year in goal but competition from Stockdale would be no bad thing.
