The 33-year old goalkeeper was a free agent following his release from Reading having spent the past two seasons with the Championship side in which he made four league appearances.
The veteran goalkeeper was subject to interest from Leeds United amid fears over the fitness of current first choice goalkeeper Paddy Kenny.
He has apparently signed a one-year contract with the Elland Road side and will become Leeds’ first summer signing.
It is expected that former Celtic defender Andre Blackman is soon to follow Taylor to the Yorkshire club.
