Leeds United are all set for another new era in the Championship as experienced Argentine manager Marcelo Bielsa takes the reins at Elland Road.

The Whites are looking to finally end their stay in the second tier and win promotion back to the Premier League after what is a 15 year hiatus now, and they will fancy their chances with their new man at the helm.

A whole host of incomings and outgoings are expected this summer at Elland Road, and some big names such as Matej Vydra are already being linked with a move to West Yorkshire.

However, with big name signings there always comes the risk of egos taking over, and we at FLW think the club should look to sign some solid Championship stalwarts too. One player who fits this mould who we think would be a superb addition is Middlesbrough midfielder Grant Leadbitter.

The former Sunderland man and current Boro skipper has been a mainstay of the team at the Riverside for a number of years now, and continually impresses year on year with his consistency and professionalism.

Leadbitter could well be exactly what Leeds need in the middle of the park. Tenacious, a leader, and someone with bags of experience, the Middlesbrough man could well be the ideal sort of player needed to knit together what could be a whole host of new players this summer.

Leeds fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
