After their play-off semi-final heartbreak last week Leeds United must now prepare to strengthen in the summer transfer window.

It may take a while to pick everyone up off the ground, but it is something they must do if they are to go one better next season and reach the Premier League.

However, some more worrying news arrived on Sunday with Football Insider reporting that Bournemouth were readying a £15million bid for the Whites' influential midfielder Kalvin Phillips.

He has been an ever-present in the midfield this season and would be a sizeable loss to Bielsa's set-up.

But £15million is a lot of money and could be very useful in the coming rebuild.

So, should Leeds cash in or keep hold?

We discuss...

Jacob Potter

"I’d be tempted to cash in.

"There’s no doubting that Phillips is crucial to this Leeds team, but if money like that is being offered, it could be too good to turn down.

"That money could be reinvested into the squad to strengthen other areas which is needed as they challenge for promotion back into the top-flight next season."

Gary Hutchinson

“Leeds should sell.

“Get in some capital to splash out on players.

“Look what it did for the Blades when they shifted Brooks on.

“Football is a business and you have to do the deals to move forward.”

Toby Wilding

"Every player has their price, but unless this is a huge offer I would be desperately trying to keep Phillips if I was Leeds.

"The 23-year-old has held the midfield together for Leeds on plenty of occasions this season, and his absence has been sorely felt when he hasn't featured.

"Letting him go isn't something you feel would go down well with the Elland Road faithful either."
