Leeds should look to sign this Chelsea man and this Liverpool player next week

Leeds have been one of the Sky Bet Championship’s surprise packages this year, with plenty of the credit going to Garry Monk, who has done a sterling job at Elland Road.

Monk only took over in the summer and most Leeds fans would not have expected success of this scale to have come so quickly.

An appearance in the EFL Cup quarter finals, tied in with comfortably sitting in the Play-Offs after 26 games, represents a successful season so far for Leeds.

Despite the great first half to their campaign, Monk will not be getting carried away and he will know the job is far from over and they will need to maintain their good form to make sure of a Play-Off spot – which is the minimum requirement.

Bringing in reinforcements will be a priority for Monk this month and he will be seeking to add more quality to his squad, whilst keeping his better players.
