Leeds' current league position of 9th is probably beyond what their fans were expecting given their troubles of last season and their change of manager in the summer.

New manager Garry Monk has had the desired impact at Leeds, with them winning 6 of their last 10 in the league and guiding them to the EFL Cup quarter-finals.

With Monk hoping that Leeds will still be in the promotion mix towards the end of the season, he is likely to be on the hunt for reinforcements in January to set his squad up for the remainder of the season.

Leeds are not short of money, but one avenue they may look to explore in January is the loan market to get players in who could get them into the play-offs before looking to build a squad in summer.

Arsenal's squad is packed with young talent who they will be looking to loan out and Leeds would be a club they would be more than happy to send players to.

Monk will be hoping to bring in some hungry young players who are keen to make an impact in the Championship and convince Arsene Wenger that they are first team ready.

Here, I will look at 2 Arsenal players who Leeds should sign on loan...

Jeff Reine-Adelaide

Jeff Reine-Adelaide

Reine-Adelaide is just 18 years old and Wenger will be looking to loan him out to get him playing regularly.

He is quite a versatile player who is able to play from either wing and behind the striker - something that will appeal to Monk as he likes versatility.

Reine-Adelaide could provide Leeds with some creativity going forward, and supply crosses into the box for Chris Wood, who sometimes gets starved of service.

With Reine-Adelaide on one side and Hadi Sacko on the other, Leeds could create countless amounts of chances for Wood who can definitely finish them.

Yaya Sanogo

Sanogo has been at Arsenal for three years but he has never really made an impact and doesn't make the squad now so he could look for a move away.

He has played most of his career as a striker but he can also play out wide, something that would increase his chances of game time at Leeds.

Sanogo may play largely second fiddle to Chris Wood but he would provide Monk with a different option, should Wood not be playing well.

Standing at 6'4", Sanogo offers the direct approach but he is no slouch, possessing bags of pace to get in behind the opposition defence too.
