Leeds have released their latest set of financial results and, naturally for a club of their size, it's made for some rather interesting reading.

The Whites are in the best financial shape that they have been in for some time but, given where they have been in that regard, that's perhaps not saying much.

Even so, Andrea Radrizzani and co. are continuing to work hard and future financial results should paint an ever-improving picture.

Amongst the results, Football Insider has done some digging and has revealed that Samuel Saiz was referred to as a fringe player upon his exit of the club.

When did these Leeds men join the club?

Certainly, this is a blunt message from the club surrounding the player but it perhaps sheds further light on how he exited the club.

He was a real talent but his departure was messy and it seems as though the club lost patience with him.

The Verdict

Saiz was a fine player on his day but Leeds have not missed him and it made sense for him to go once it was clear that he didn't really want to stick around.

The Whites have moved on nicely without him and will be looking to get into the Premier League once this season is resumed.
