The Championship weekend is not too long away now with a Friday night fixture of Sheffield Wednesday v Wolves to look forward too.

Whilst they'll both be going for the three points, though, there is also plenty of games to come over the weekend and one of those is Norwich City's trip to Leeds United.

Both sides are looking in good shape for this one with them coming off of the back of 3-1 wins last weekend and so we should be in for a good game.

It'll be interesting to see who Thomas Christiansen goes with up front, meanwhile, with Caleb Ekuban injuring his foot during the game with QPR and now out of contention.

It might be Kemar Roofe or Pawel Cibicki for the starting role up top, then, but it seems as though Pierre-Michel Lasogga is not far away from staking his claim for the role.

Indeed, as per Leeds on Twitter, he is back in training:

Of course, he may not be fit for the Norwich game as he has been out for some time but this is still a positive in being able to call on him before too long as we get into the Christmas period in earnest.

The Verdict

Leeds are going well once more and the return of Lasogga could be a welcome boost.

He has struggled at times this season but he can also be a real force up top so let's see how he performs when he gets back to full-speed.
