Leeds United forward Tyler Roberts has admitted it will be nice to return to West Brom tomorrow but insists his focus is on helping the Whites get three points.

The 19-year-old joined the Whites from Albion at the start of the year and it was a big move for the youngster as he had come through the ranks at The Hawthorns.

Roberts only managed to make one senior league appearance, which happened to be against Liverpool, with various loan moves throughout his career.

However, he is looking forward to the game, which will see him come up against his old U23s manager - Darren Moore. But, he reiterated how he is just concentrating on getting the win to ensure Leeds stay top.

"I'm excited. Obviously it's going to be a bit strange to be back at the club I grew up at. I want to get the win and I'm hungry to score a goal," he told LUTV.

"Darren Moore's now the manager, who was my under-23s coach, so a lot of people I know are still there. It'll be nice to see them but it's not time for friendship, it's kind of a rivalry."

The Verdict

Like Kemar Roofe, who is also returning to the side he started with, this will be a game that Roberts is looking forward too.

It gives him a chance to see a few familiar faces beforehand but once the whistle goes it will be all about Leeds - as he says.

He is likely to start on the bench but the teenager will back himself to make a decisive impact if he is given a chance.
