Whilst the Championship season begins in just over three weeks time, for many English football fans the focus is on the national team.

The Three Lions have exceeded all expectations in Russia and are gearing up for a semi-final clash against Croatia in Moscow tonight, with the winner set to play France in the showpiece event on Sunday.

Unsurprisingly, it's gripped the nation with fans getting behind Gareth Southgate and the team ahead of what could be a historic few days.

And, England have got themselves another supporter in the form of Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani.

The Italian has been involved with the club since January 2017 and has clearly got a soft spot for the city and the country going by his message.

Radrizzani is actually out in Moscow where tonight's game will be held and wished Southgate's men the best as they look to make the final of a major tournament for the first time since they won the World Cup back in 1966.

The Verdict

All English Leeds fans will be glad to see the owner wants the side to do well tonight and it would be fantastic for the country if they did win the World Cup.

Clearly, Radrizzani has a lot of time and love for English football so as Italy aren't involved it's probably natural that he wants England to do well.

Although, some supporters may think he has more pressing transfer matters to conclude for Leeds instead of going out to Moscow!
