Leeds United head to Sheffield United this weekend as they look to get their latest new managerial era off to a winning start.

Indeed, Paul Heckingbottom arrived earlier this week at the club from Barnsley after Thomas Christiansen was let go on Sunday evening from the Whites' hot-seat.

For sure, then, it is a big game that's welcoming Heckingbottom to the job as he takes his men to Bramall Lane for a Yorkshire derby with him a man all too familiar with the workings of the football clubs' rivalries in the area.

Indeed, growing up a Barnsley fan, he has said before how he grew up hating Leeds United - something that potentially could have made his arrival a tad awkward.

However, as per Phil Hay on Twitter, Hecky has moved to play things down and that he is happy to be at Elland Road as the manager:

If Heckingbottom gets Leeds winning quickly and back into the play-off places it's more than likely everyone will forget what he said about the club from a Barnsley perspective.

It's clear that he is happy to be at the Whites, now, and he's bound to earn some serious support if he gets off to a winning start against the Blades.
