Leeds United are looking to get themselves back on top spot as they saw Norwich and Sheffield United move above them at the weekend.

The Whites didn't have any game, of course, and both the Yellows and the Blades won - changing the complexion of the table.

The men from Elland Road will look to change that in due course, then, but they will have to do it without Kemar Roofe who is set for a rather significant time out.

Certainly, it's a concern given his prominence this season in the Whites' title charge - though it is a familiar feeling for the club who have seen many hit with injury this season.

Roofe already seems determined to get back as soon as possible, though, with him providing this message on Twitter and Instagram:

The Verdict

Roofe has had an excellent season this year and has proven to be one of the best players in the league.

His goals have taken Leeds to the top of the league for much of this year and the only saving grace is that Patrick Bamford looks set to now play an important part.

The Whites have struggled with injuries this season, they'll just hope this isn't one too many.
