Leeds United striker Eddie Nketiah has sent a message to Arsenal legend Ian Wright on social media, 28 years to the day since he signed for the Gunners.

Nketiah joined Leeds on a season-long loan from Arsenal on transfer deadline day and has made a big impact at Elland Road so far, scoring four goals in his seven appearances for the Whites.

Arsenal legend Wright is a big fan of Nketiah and has been to watch him in action for Leeds at Elland Road this season.

The 20-year-old striker has previously spoken about how he looks up to Wright and sees him as a bit of a mentor, and he has now praised him again with a message on social media.

Arsenal posted an update on the club's official Twitter feed, 28 years to the day since Wright joined the club, congratulating him on his achievements. Nketiah responded to the tweet with a message of his own, calling Wright a legend.
