Sky Bet Championship side Leeds United are interested in signing AFC Bournemouth midfielder Eunan O’Kane, according to Daily Mail journalist Riath Al-Samarrai.
The 26-year-old midfielder made eleven league appearances in the Cherries’ Championship winning campaign in 2014/15, and had slightly more game time last season, claiming a single assist in his 16 Premier League games.
With the new additions of Emerson Hyndman and Lewis Cook in central midfield, his game time may decrease further, so he may well be looking to drop down a division to get more playing opportunities.
Following their woeful start to the season, that included a solitary victory in their five games, Leeds manager Garry Monk was likely fearing for his future, and is looking to bring in some more talent to get the owners back on side.
He has already signed eleven players this summer, including Kemar Roofe, Rob Green, Luke Ayling, Matt Grimes and Marcus Antonsson, and O’Kane may well be added to that list come 11.30pm this evening.
