Leeds United are the latest club to be keeping an eye on Exeter City star Ollie Watkins, according to a report in the Sun.

The 21-year-old has been in superb form for the Grecians this season, scoring 13 goals for the club and impressing plenty of onlooking scouts with his striking displays.

Leeds manager Garry Monk is keen to strengthen his squad, and even though they look set to secure a playoff place in the Championship, Monk is thought to be willing to take a chance on lower league players to improve his ranks.

Watkins fits that mould perfectly, and a summer move for the striker to Elland Road would surely be too much to resist for him.

Leeds have had a superb first season under former Swansea man Monk, and they sit well within the top six of the Championship table, albeit a bit too far back from the top two to really make a push at the automatic places.

Watkins will be hoping for a strong finish to the season for Exeter, as he looks to cement his reputation as one of the brightest prospects south of the Championship.
