Swansea City want £6m for Leeds United target Kyle Bartley, according to a report by TEAMtalk.
Bartley is one of Leeds' top transfer targets going into the summer as Paul Heckingbottom looks to strengthen his defensive options.
The 26-year-old spent the 2016/17 season on loan at Leeds, captaining the side on occasions and playing 50 games in all competitions, scoring six times in the process.
But injuries have prevented the former Arsenal academy product from kicking on at Swansea this season and the dominant 6ft 4in defender has been limited to just 10 games in all competitions and just five Premier League outings.
His lack of game time at The Liberty Stadium has led to rumours that Leeds are chasing a reunion with Bartley.
However, Swansea are not willing to lose their defender for less than £6m as they see him as a good option for the Championship.
The Swans will be hoping to bounce straight back up to the Premier League after suffering a disappointing relegation this season and Alfie Mawson is expected to leave to enhance his international ambitions by playing top flight football.
Therefore, Swansea will not want to lose another centre-half in Bartley - especially one with a proven track record at Championship level.
The Verdict
Before anything else, Leeds need to try to complete a deal to bring Bartley back to Elland Road.
Not only is he a big fans' favourite but he embodies passion, leadership and power at the back and the difference between him and Liam Cooper has been very evident this season.
Bartley could also get Jansson back to his best form as the pair formed one of the most solid partnerships in the division in the 2016/17 campaign.
