Leeds United took to the headlines once more yesterday as they announced a new business deal that should see them have a bit more clout in the transfer window.

With Stoke, West Brom and Swansea all set to receive parachute payments for the coming few years, there's yet more sides in the Championship profiting from the riches of the Premier League despite dropping out.

Leeds, of course, left the top flight well before the scheme came into place and so they have had to think of other ways to make money.

Andrea Radrizzani has sold a minority stake to the 49ers enterprise group, then, and it is hoped that they will be able to help fund moves for new players.

With that said, then, we asked Leeds fans whether they felt the extra money could help them assemble a side good enough to mount a charge on the top six and this was the response:

Evidently, then, most are unconvinced by the deal - or just about at least.

Obviously, the poll only takes into account the views of those that have voted and another might swing the other way but it's clear that the new investors will now need to prove themselves in this window.
