Leeds United fans will be seriously hoping their side is going to do the business when it comes to signing players this summer.

The Whites aren't afraid of being active, we saw that last year, but that doesn't always guarantee success - as was proven in the nine or so months to follow.

Evidently, then, the Whites need to get their summer signings from a better catalogue this window and it remains to be seen who exactly they manage to purchase.

Whilst we wait for that, then, we asked fans whether they'd be open to a deal for Niall McGinn for £5 million on Twitter and this was the response:

McGinn is a hard working player but it is evident that Whites fans do not, in the main, want to see a deal done for him.

Perhaps, of course, they would had we asked about him at a lower price because £5m does represent a fairly significant outlay.

Even so, that isn't to say that the Whites can't afford to sanction such a deal, but it is clear that they need to do so only for the right player.

Let's see if they can get the fans onside with those that do arrive.
