Leeds United are eyeing up a move for Orlando City strike Cyle Larin, according to a report by the Daily Star.

The 22-year-old Canadian international is a hot property in the MLS, where he is averaging a goal every two games for the Florida based club, and looks set for a January move if Leeds get their own way.

Larin has been putting in some impressive performances for some time now for his current club, and Leeds manager Thomas Christiansen is reportedly eyeing up a £2m bid for the big striker.

The striker, who at over six feet tall is quite the presence up the top end of the pitch, could be set for what would be a dream move to England if Orlando choose to sell him. He has more than 20 caps for his country already, notching five goals in the process.

Larin has hit the net ten times this season too, leading to a whole host of clubs sitting up and taking notice.

Leeds though look to be edging closer to making a bid. The Whites have made an impressive start to the Championship season and currently sit in the top two.

The Verdict

Leeds will be looking to add some new players to the team in January if they continue their good form and it's always good to bring in a striker.

Larin looks to have all the qualities to succeed in England, and could be a superb addition.
