Leeds United manager Darko Milanic has admitted he's seeing improvement in the squad since he took the job at Elland Road.

Leeds manager Darko Milanic is still searching for his first win

Milanic is still searching for his first win since being named new head coach at the Yorkshire club and speaking to the media earlier today at his pre-Wolves press conference he admitted he's seeing improvement in the Whites squad.

"I think that it was a good point, like I thought after the game," Milanic told the clubs official website.

"It was a difficult game, the opponents had a lot of pressure. They’re a very good team and we had to defend well. Defending for part of the game was good.

"I think that we are better because we know each other better. I saw where we had some problems in the games when the opponent is extremely aggressive.

"We have a profile of the players and of our style and we have to train hard to do it well."

Milanic is yet to name a unchanged team in his games in charge since he was appointed head-coach and he said to the clubs official website: "It is difficult to play every week with the same players and because of suspension, injuries and a lot of games, we don't have a lot of time between games,"

"We also have some extremely young players. They won’t make it if they play too much.

"It is important for me and it is important for the club that we have solutions."

Milanic also spoke to the clubs official website about midfielder Lewis Cook and said: "I’ve been here one month and he has started three times,"

"He played in the last game also and he is extremely young with talent. He will play in the future."
