Marcelo Bielsa has suggested that Huddersfield Town are a better team that the table suggests.

The Terriers are currently sitting in 19th place in the Champions, just two points above the relegation zone.

That position hasn't been helped by the current run of four games without a win, but Bielsa has suggested that this will improve.

Danny Cowley has faced a difficult challenge to get Huddersfield firing after their relegation from the Premier League, and the Leeds United boss has said that these things often take time.

Speaking to the press, as quoted by Leeds Live, Bielsa said: "They have players that make us think they deserve a better position in the table.

That makes us think, as well, the impact of the manager, they are waiting for that because the manager is developing them to have more impact.

"Manager’s work is trying to balance the result with the players we have. Those processes are not easy. They have ups and downs.

"Every team has those kinds of processes. That can happen in different moments of the competition.

"It’s very difficult one team in the competition doesn’t have ups and downs. When you say something in football was true, after you have an opposite truth.

"If you see Liverpool, you don’t see their ups and downs. You cannot take this conclusion about exceptions to the rule."

The verdict

It's difficult to find a team who are capable of stopping Leeds United on current form.

The 4-0 victory over Middlesbrough last week was a game which saw everything click, and you'd be foolish to bet against the same thing happening again in the coming weeks.

Huddersfield will try and keep things tight, but it'd take a brave man to bet against Marcelo Bielsa's boys.
