Leeds United manager Steve Evans has said that he is looking for two or three loan signings before the end of the loan window, according to the Yorkshire Post

Evans feels the club could achieve promotion to the top-flight

New manager Evans, who replaced the scaked Uwe Rosler on October 19, is looking for reinforcements to bolster his squad after another poor home result against Blackburn Rovers on Thursday - a result that stretched their winless run at Elland Road to just under eight months.

The former Rotherham United boss is evidently not satisfied with the options he currently has at Leeds, and will be looking to add to his squad before the loan deadline on November 25.

It appears that a striker is one of Evans' top priorities, which will help bolster his limited attacking options, as well as add competition for Chris Wood and Mirco Antenucci. The Yorkshire club have only netted 12 times in the league this season, less than a goal a game, while only four teams have scored less.

It is obviously an issue that needs addressing quickly if Leeds are to avoid being sucked into a relegation scrap come the end of the season.

Evans' side are on a poor run after losing four straight league games, and they face eighth place Cardiff City at Elland Road next week, looking to bounce back and end that wretched home run.

Leeds currently sit 18th in the Sky Bet Championship table, just three points clear of the bottom three.
