According to Area Napoli in Italy, Serie A side Napoli could look to sign Mateusz Bogusz from Leeds United in the summer with the Polish player yet to force his way into the Whites’ first team under Marcelo Bielsa.
United have a fine crop of young players at their club right now and their Argentine manager has shown a real willingness to field them if he thinks that they are good enough.
Bogusz has featured at times, too, but not that often and it seems as though the side from Naples feels as though they can get him to leave Yorkshire and travel to Italy.
Leeds, of course, are looking to return to the Premier League and whether that has any impact on a potential move remains to be seen, though Napoli could offer European football next season given their current standing in the Italian top flight.
It could be a big decision for Bogusz to move to Italy but he’s used to moving abroad, obviously, and if he feels as though there’s a better chance of first-team football then he might be tempted.
Bielsa has taught many young players a great deal, though, so walking away isn’t going to be easy.
