Leeds United remain well in the promotion race in the Sky Bet Championship but they have lost that little bit of edge in recent weeks.

With injuries coming into play, the intensity isn't where it was at the start of the season and Whites fans will hope that that isn't a sign of things to come.

It should be said, though, that they are still controlling games possession-wise and so, if that remains the case, they will still have a great chance of racking up wins.

In recent weeks, though, the club has let a few set-piece errors creep in and goals have been conceded with the latest example during the 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest at the weekend.

With that in mind, then, Leeds forward Kemar Roofe has admitted that it is a weakness that now needs addressing.

As quoted by the Yorkshire Evening Post, he had this to say about the situation:

“I think we have conceded a bit too many now.

“It might be time where we need to just do something with it. But hopefully we just get a bit better at it. We don’t want to be conceding goals full stop and we have been conceding a bit too many from set-pieces."

The Verdict

Leeds have let mistakes creep in at the back when it comes to set-pieces after starting this season looking strong in that regard.

It's by no means a major issue right now but they'll want to snuff things out before opposing sides start looking to use that chink in the armour as a way to win matches against them.
