Mateusz Klich has insisted that a sold out Elland Road will be a big boost for Leeds United ahead of tomorrow’s clash with Birmingham City.

Leeds are in fine form in the Championship, with Marcelo Bielsa’s side still unbeaten, having picked up 18 points from a possible 24 that have been available to them.

Bielsa’s side will be looking to extend that run tomorrow afternoon, with Garry Monk’s side visiting Elland Road.

35,000+ Leeds supporters are set to back Bielsa’s side, with the home section of Elland Road sold out.

Klich has been speaking to Leeds’ official website, admitting that the support the team will receive is an extra boost. The Polish midfielder said: “It will be really good playing in front of a sold out Elland Road, when you need the support from the fans during a game you can feel it, it gives us an extra boost and I can’t wait for Saturday.”

Leeds enter the clash with Birmingham full of confidence, having swept aside Preston North End on Tuesday evening.

Liam Cooper’s first-half goal set Leeds up for a fifth victory of the season, before Tyler Roberts’ classy double helped the Whites to a 3-0 victory.

In contrast, Birmingham have struggled so far this season, with Monk’s side picking up just six points.

They’ve lost just twice, though, recording six draws from their eight fixtures.

The Verdict

Leeds have been excellent this season, but tomorrow will not be a walkover for the Whites, as Birmingham are extremely tough to beat.

Bielsa will want his side playing their own game, and if they can manage that, the crowd will feed off their intensity and create a great atmosphere.

That will be a big boost for Leeds.
