Sheffield Wednesday caretaker manager, Lee Bullen, has warned his squad about the physical threat that his side will face when they travel to the Den on Saturday.

Bullen's side currently sit pretty at the top of the league having won both of their opening fixtures against Reading and Barnsley.

This weekend his side come up against a Millwall side who are also unbeaten in their first two games. Neil Harris is known for making the Lions a tough outfit to beat and often wants his squad to embrace the physical battle.

Speaking to the Sheffield Star, Bullen said: "We know exactly what we are going to be coming up against with Millwall.

"I know Neil Harris really, really well and his team have had a lot of success and what you are going to get is a battle going into the Lions den should we say.
"We know their support base is unbelievable in their backing of the team and players and they will try and make it a red hot atmosphere.
"They will certainly ask questions of us which will be completely different from the first two games, especially with big Matt Smith up front and their two big centre-backs.
"We understand we are going to have defend set plays and it will be a more physical game." The last time these two sides met at the Den, the scores ended level with neither side able to make a breakthrough. Millwall will be confident going into the game after their Carabao Cup victory at West Brom in midweek, whilst the Owls' fixture was postponed due to Bury's ongoing financial situation. The Verdict Lee Bullen, so far this season, has got it spot on. In the first two games, the Owls have been terrific and thoroughly deserve to be where they are in the league table. It's good to see that Bullen has highlighted Millwall's strengths and understands that his side will have to be at their very best when it comes to physicality at the Den. Obviously, Bullen will know that the Owls have players that will be able to hurt Millwall with their technical ability but its important that they get the basics right for an old fashioned game like this. There are a lot of promising early signs this season, and confidence will keep growing around the club if the caretaker boss continues to show he's capable of Championship management.
