Swansea City manager Graham Potter will be hoping his side can get back to winning ways when they return to action following the international break as they make the trip to Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon.

Potter will be hoping his players have forgotten their last match, a 3-2 defeat to Championship strugglers Ipswich Town when they arrive at what is likely to be a fired-up Villa Park.

Potter will expect a reaction from his players, but should it not materialise then it may well increase his efforts to find some new recruits in the January transfer window, with a player like Cardiff outcast Lee Tomlin a player he may consider.

But should Swansea attempt a loan move for Lee Tomlin in January?

We discuss.....

Jacob Potter

I don’t think he would add anything to Graham Potter’s side.

With the likes of Tom Carroll, Bersant Celina and the returning Leroy Fer already battling it out for the central midfield spot at Swansea, there is no way he would get in ahead of any of their current options.

It would be an awful move for Tomlin who wouldn’t be getting the game time he needs.

George Dagless

I'd say no.

He's a decent player without doubt but I don't think he is really what Swansea and Graham Potter are looking for.

Potter is trying to bring the average age of the squad down so I don't see this one.

Gary Hutchinson

No, not at all.

I can’t see him fitting into the Swansea way.

There’s better out there for them, more suited to their approach.

Leave well alone.

Louie Chandler

Definitely.

They could certainly do with some more creativity and they do not come much better at Championship level than Tomlin.
