Chris Hughton will have a decision to make in midfield this weekend with Ryan Yates back fit and available for selection ahead of Saturday’s clash with Blackburn Rovers.
Yates has been missing for nearly a month now, missing their last five league games having picked up a calf injury against Middlesbrough last month.
The 23-year-old has made 24 appearances in all competitions for Forest this season, and was a key player under Chris Hughton before sustaining a calf injury.

In Yates’ absence, James Garner and Cafu have struck up an impressive partnership in midfield, with Filip Krovinovic starting ahead of them in the number 10 role.
After a few positive results, it remains to be seen whether Hughton puts Yates straight back into the side or not, which would risk disrupting the rhythm built up in recent weeks.
Forest fans have been debating whether they would put Yates back into the side or not, and here is what they had to say…
Big fan of Yates but we played really well on Wednesday, despite the result, so would stick largely the same maybe changing Grabban for Murray. I am looking forward to Yates and Garner in the middle though

I think we’ve looked far more controlled in midfield without him tbh. Put him on the bench.

For the love of god no! We've started playing more on the front foot since he's been out.

No. Good player with loads of promise. Great and I mean Great attitude. Needs to develop his attacking game but at this moment Cafu is the man. Keep him very much in the squad.

No, same starting 11 for me
— Paul Reeve (@reeve_paul) February 19, 2021
Nope, simply because the current midfield has been very good, he should really have to wait for an opportunity, still it definitely strengthens an already decent bench

No – bench 100% though
— Tiegan (@TieganNFFC) February 19, 2021
On the bench. Definitely shouldn’t be starting tomorrow.

No. Good squad player, great heart, but not enough to warrant a starting place

Leave it as it is
