Watford will be looking to keep the pressure on league-leaders Reading when they return to action this weekend after the international break.
The Hornets are currently sat second in the Championship table, and are just a single point behind the Royals heading into the weekend’s set of fixtures.
Watford take on London rivals QPR, in what could prove to be a tricky test for Vladimir Ivić’s side on Saturday afternoon.
The Hoops have struggled for a positive run of results in the second-tier this term, and are sat 18th heading into the game this weekend.
Mark Warburton’s men have won two out of their last three matches though, and will be hoping they can spring a surprise against Watford.
Sky Sports’ EFL pundit David Prutton issued his thoughts ahead of the match, and predicted that the Hornets would run out narrow 2-1 winners in this one.
“QPR are just about where they always seem to be, in lower mid-table. Getting some good results and throwing away points elsewhere.
“Watford feel like they’re building up a head of steam now. They’ve got one of the best squads in this league right now and they should be where they are. I’m leaning towards the visitors.”

The Hornets need to be beating the teams that are struggling in the Championship if they’re to be taken seriously as promotion contenders.
They’ve got the quality in their squad, and I’d be surprised if they didn’t come away with three points against a QPR side that haven’t been good enough in recent weeks.
Watford’s quality will prove to be too much for QPR, and a defeat for the Hoops will only increase the pressure on manager Mark Warburton.
