There are less than three weeks to go until the start of the 2019/20 League Two campaign, with plenty of clubs still busy in the transfer market preparing for the new season.

With the likes of Bradford and Plymouth making plenty of signings following their relegation from League One, it is shaping up to be another enthralling season in the fourth tier.

Today, we start our round-up off at Swindon Town, where a new signing could well be on the horizon...

Jordan Lyden

Swindon Town are interested in signing former Aston Villa youngster Jordan Lyden, who is available to sign on a free transfer this summer, as per Alan Nixon.

The 23-year-old made just eight appearances for Villa during his stay at Villa Park, but spent last season on loan with Oldham Athletic in League Two.

The versatile midfielder has played twice for Australia Under-20s, and will add depth to the Robins' squad.

Byron Moore

Plymouth Argyle have completed the signing of Bury winger Byron Moore on a free transfer.

The 30-year-old was a hugely important player for Ryan Lowe's side last season, scoring eight goals and producing four assists as the Shakers won automatic promotion from League Two.

Danny Mayor, Will Aimson and Dom Telford have all arrived from Gigg Lane this summer, to join up with Lowe for a second season running.

Dillon Barnes

Championship side QPR have signed Colchester United goalkeeper Dillon Barnes after the shot-stopper turned down a new deal at the Essex club.

The 23-year-old made 26 appearances for John McGreal's side last season, battling it out with Rene Gilmartin for a place in between the sticks.

Barnes has now stepped up two divisions, though, putting pen to paper on a two-year deal at Loftus Road.

Cameron Dummigan

Grimsby Town have had another bid turned down for Dundalk full-back Cameron Dummigan, as per reputable journalist Pete O'Rourke.

The 23-year-old was an influential player for Oldham between 2015 and 2019, and was named their Young Player of the Year in 2017.

He has since moved to Dundalk, making only a handful of appearances for the Irish outfit.
