According to an exclusive report by News Shopper, Peterborough United have priced star man Marcus Maddison at £1.5m this summer.

Marcus Maddison is on the transfer list at Peterborough United this summer despite attracting interest from a number of Championship and League One clubs in the past.

Peterborough are plotting a major summer overhaul and as part of this, they have transfer listed a number of first team players.

Marcus Maddison, who has netted 22 goals in the past two seasons, is entering the final year of his contract and looks set for an exit this summer after rejecting a number of new contract offers at the ABAX.

The 23-year-old scored nine goals and added an impressive tally of seventeen assists in 41 League One matches last season and he has been a top target for Charlton Athletic.

Charlton boss Karl Robinson is a big fan of Marcus Maddison and will try to snap him up for closer to £1m, according to this report.

The former Gateshead winger, who earned his way into the Football League via the non-league route, is currently away on holiday but Charlton are favourites to secure his services when he returns.

Championship duo Bolton Wanderers and Sheffield United are also thought to be interested in signing the left-footed winger.

Marcus Maddison can play on either flank or as a left back.
