Sky Bet League One duo Oldham United and Bury are eyeing up a move for Blackburn midfielder John O’Sullivan, according to the Sun.
The 22-year-old spent time last season on loan at Accrington Stanley and Barnsley, and the Irishman has represented the under 21’s at international level and a move away from Ewood Park is more likely to enhance his development.
O’Sullivan is an academy graduate but has failed to implement himself into the first team at Blackburn – he can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder.
O’Sullivan has a deal with Blackburn Rovers until summer 2016 so this is a vital time for him to impress, whereever he should ply his trade.
Bury are currently flying high in Sky Bet League One in third place where as Oldham have made a slow start to their campaign, and sit in 18th place.
Blackburn fans, would you like to see O’Sullivan given a chance in the first team? Bury and Oldham fans, will this be a good signing for your club? Let us know in the comments below!
