Sheffield United have confirmed the signing of Oli McBurnie, and it has not gone down well with the Swansea fans.

The Swans looked like they would hang on to their star striker and for most of the summer as they rejected several bids for the 22-goal man, until The Blades finally met their asking price of £20m.

It is a great deal financially for the club. McBurnie has only impressed for one season and has never played in the Premier League so they have sold him for more than he's worth, but it is difficult for fans to see the positives.

He was the key man now that Dan James has also departed, and as their main source of goals Swans fans may begin to have fears about relegation.

Some fans also question whether any of the money will be put back into the squad, so whilst £20m seems a good sum, it matters little unless the squad is strengthened as a result.

Here is some of the reaction from some disheartened Swans fans on Twitter.
