The days keep rolling by, the season keeps getting closer and the signings keep on coming.

League Two clubs have been especially busy today, with a number of transfers and stories emerging from the basement division.

We begin our round-up at Blundell Park, where Grimsby have signed their third forward of the summer.

Moses Ogbu

Grimsby Town have added to their ranks with the capture of striker Moses Ugbo.

The 28-year-old spent last season playing in Sweden's with IK Sirius, as well as having a spell with Al-Ain in Saudi Arabia.

He becomes the third capture of the summer for the Mariners, with Matt Green and James Hanson already signed on for the coming season.

Danny Rose

Danny Rose is a player in demand, but Mansfield Town boss John Dempster is eager to keep him.

The forward had a tough season in 2018/19, struggling for goals after spending much of the campaign coming off the bench.

Despite interest from Tranmere, Bradford and Salford, Dempster has told the Mansfield Chad he wants, and expects, the 27-year-old to remain at Field Mill.

Gary Woods

Oldham Athletic have strengthened today with the capture of goalkeeper Gary Woods from Hamilton Academical.

The 28-year-old was a Scottish Cup winner with Ross County in 2016, and signs a two-year deal with the Latics.

He was on the books of both Watford and Leyton Orient before moving north of the border.

Forest Green

Forest Green Rovers have had a busy day, firstly seeing striker Christian Doidge move closer to a departure for Scottish side Hibernian.

Doidge, who made a failed move to Bolton last summer, is thought to be close to a deal taking him to Easter Road.

They've also added to their ranks, 20-year-old midfielder James Morton joining from Bristol City.

James Vaughan

Former Everton striker James Vaughan has penned a three-year deal with League Two new boys Bradford City, as reported by the Telegraph and Argus.

He was available on a free transfer after leaving Wigan and links up with former Birmingham teammate Clayton Donaldson at Valley Parade.
