According to London News Online, Charlton Athletic are keen to tie up a permanent deal for Norwich City goalkeeper Declan Rudd.
Declan Rudd is currently on loan at Charlton until the end of the 2016/17 campaign but Addicks boss Karl Robinson wants to keep him beyond the end of the season.
“Declan is an amazing young man and a very talented goalkeeper.
“I don’t know if you saw his celebrations for our goal on Tuesday or at home to Walsall?
“He celebrates like it’s his real club.
“For a loan player to have that much passion for the team he plays for is remarkable.
“I’d love him to be here next year.”
The 26-year-old will only have a year left on his Norwich contract when he returns to Carrow Road and he is down the pecking order, behind Michael McGovern, John Ruddy and Paul Jones.
However, Robinson acknowledged that any deal would rely on Norwich cooperating but he is confident that Rudd will want to return.
